Medicate Me -Karina Van Ron
a Review by Anna Maria
Stjarnell (www.collectedsounds.com)
Karina Van Ron sings partly in spanish on this CD, but don't expect it to
fit into the Latin pop genre. Van Ron's music is alternative rock with pop
touches.
Her spanish version of Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box
(Caja de Corazon) is spirited and fun.
Do My Underwear has some great guitar playing and a Chrissie Hynde-like
vocal from Van Ron.
Miss Deville is slower and more pensive but has tension to spare.
Karina Van Ron's album is a solid, likeable record that makes for
entertaining listening.
